Starting a Chapter

Why Start A Mentoring Program?

Motherhood is a difficult and complex task that involves meeting the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological needs of children. The MOMS program provides an informal setting for mentoring to happen as women of different ages, personalities, and walks of life meet. Together, they can discuss the challenges they face with their children and families. Mentoring equips young mothers for their task and ultimately, their marriages and families grow stronger. Strong families, in turn, build healthy communities. And that impacts society as a whole. We're excited you're interested in starting a MOMS chapter in your area. Please contact MOMS today!

MOMS Fees

There are no charter fees associated with the MOMS program, however, we strongly encourage women who attend to purchase an annual membership. MOMS memberships come with discounts to MOMS events and/or products.

Expenses for starting a MOMS Chapter include purchase of the MOMS Manual (which provides all the information needed to start a Chapter) and weekly operating costs. Chapters receive ongoing support through the website, monthly newsletter, training workshops, corporate events, visits by MOMS Program Director, and availability of new course outlines and curriculum. MOMS Chapters meet in churches or other facilities and require a large meeting room, kitchen, 2 nurseries and 3 - 4 classrooms suitable for children's classes.

Program Structure

MOMS is the parent organization which operates under a Board of Directors. As the parent organization, MOMS provides support, training and resources to the individual chapters. Churches sponsor individual chapters and have input in how their individual group is run.
