MOMS Purpose
is:

1. To provide a network that encourages
and equips moms to be the best mothers they can be.

for personal growth through developing their skills and talents.

To provide a safe place for women to share their struggles and concerns
related to raising a family.

To provide mature women the opportunity to mentor younger
mothers.

operates through local chapters and large group events.
MOMS
is a registered charity and is funded solely by donations and fundraising

MOMS Chapters
MOMS
chapters meet for two hours each week from the beginning of October through
the end of May. The childcare program, Bumble Bees, runs simultaneously
for children from newborn to 5 years of age. Each week begins with a 30-minute
registration and coffee time, followed by announcements and a door prize
drawing. Each week has a different focus including DIY (do it yourself)
classes, discussion groups or elective classes, guest speakers or a special
feature.
MOMS Corporate Events
| MOMS
hosts three corporate events per year. These include: |
- Annual Conference
(February) - a one-day event designed to encourage, educate and
rejuvenate mothers. The conference features keynote speakers, break
out sessions, pampering and door prizes.
- Spring Tea
(May) - designed to encourage and educate mothers. This event features
a guest speaker, refreshments, door prizes and a different theme
every year.
- Annual General
Meeting (June) - features program information and a guest speaker
addressing a relevant subject for families.
